My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
India | Sunday, January 13, 2013 | 5 photos
My parents raised me with a desire to live curiously and the result has been this: a developed love for looking at the world through a lens. I carry my awe with me wherever I go.
Armed with an eye for adventure and a pair of very itchy feet, I have set off to the edge of the Ganges River. Ridden a hot air balloon in Turkey. Walked through the Art Market in Bali. Enjoyed the cherry blossoms and palaces of Seoul. Stood in wonderment of Angkor Wat's ancient temples.
I have seen the beauty of my own country: Sagada, Baguio, Boracay, Bohol, Ilocos, Palawan... but I have also gotten a glimpse of the beauty beyond its borders.
A lot of people will tell you that they have passion. But passion is just a part of the equation. Passion wavers. What I have is a love affair and I am committed to it.
I have a desire to immerse myself in new adventures every single day. Many people will tell you about their desire to see the world. I am blessed enough to say that I have already seen parts of it and I can assure you: it is fantastic. This world humbles me as much as it inspires me, and I am on a constant quest to see what else is out there, camera in tow for the journey ahead.
