In the morning I want to enjoy a unique culinary jogja is Gudeg, I find it in the row of the hall in the morning malioboro already crowded, and I found the mother - women sellers gudeg 7000 rupiahs at a price I can get a nice warm rice with boiled chicken and side dishes egg ,sweet tea with a friendly mother of sleman and give serves me a plate of rice with a friendly smile.
Gudeg is the traditional food that is native jogja heritage and the cultural heritage in the form of food which is owned by Jogja. Existence would not be Gudeg in Jogja can be replaced by any food that has begun to uniform because of the many immigrants from outside Jogja.
Gudeg -based foods in the young jackfruit boiled until tender for 24 hours or one full day to vaporize the stew gravy these young jackfruit. The results are the young jackfruit which becomes soft nan sweet because it has been boiled with herbs such as traditional, brown sugar, coconut milk, onion, garlic and other seasonings.
Gudeg the cooked is served hot with a complement of chicken eggs, chicken bacem, tempeh or tofu to taste, plus the sauce krecek (cowhide) and vegetable soybean are becoming increasingly delicious warm meal accompanied by a plate of warm rice. sweet taste in food, are characteristic of Jogja cuisine, and has been from time immemorial and has become a tradition among the people of Jogja. Delicious Gudeg can be found in every corner jogja ranging from street vendors to sell food restaurant is great too, because it is already Gudeg food and cultural traditions, therefore typical Jogja.
Jogja when the gudeg meal is not complete yet it . Gudeg as a traditional food has become a cultural jogja remaining in the culinary forms native to Indonesia, sweet flavor which is derived in accordance with a warm smile of the people jogja, jogja quiet atmosphere, not too crowded activities of his town and of course asked me to come back here again while enjoying the warmth of warm with hot tea.
