My Scholarship entry - Medinas of Morocco; more than a market

Travel photography is pretty much the combination of my two passions and to think about it as a job and way of life is simply a wonderful dream. I started to get into photography during my first trip five years ago, and haven’t been able to drop the camera or the travel book since. It was during one of my first trips that came the idea to study abroad for a year and I took the opportunity, while studying in Prague, to explore as much as possible. I had the chance to go by many different countries and places; from Western to Eastern Europe, as disturbing as Chernobyl and as far and remote as Siberia. For me, there is no country not worth visiting but Oman occupies a high rank on top choices country for I find Middle East fascinating.Taking a class with a press photographer really taught me a new way of considering photography and especially helped me to photograph people, which has always been difficult for me. Working alongside an experienced photographer such as Jason Edwards would allow me to understand the efforts needed to achieve professional results, not only the photographic theory but the whole approach behind any great picture.
