A stolen peek at one of the rainforest's beautiful rooted residents.

This is one of Jaco's many friendly stray pups. A meal is not too difficult to come by in Jaco, all it takes is catching the gaze of one tenderhearted bystander to fill his belly. Thus it seems that the sense of longing this pup exudes in this photo is not for food, but for some much needed affection.

This is a close examination of the lines and shadows of a single palm tree branch and it is very well one of my favorite photographs. It takes most more than one glance to figure out the object in this photo and the beauty that has been captured from such seemingly simple subject matter is a revelation in humility all in itself.
