i started travelling already when i was 20 years old, first i used to travel in Europe (i am German citizen) because i did not have enough money to go overseas but after a while i decided to save money and travel to South America, it was an amazing experience in the late 80th to travel around especially in venezuela.
but i wanted to see more of the world so i decided to visit Thailandwhich was just amazing but......
the jet lag with those overseas trips let me suffer for days, so i decided to travel to africa to avoid to much jet lag. i started in the early 90th in Namibia and was adicted. so i contnued travelling to Africa almost every year (Southafrica, Botswana, Sambia, Mozambique, Simbabwe, Tanzania, Kenia, Uganda and Ruanda had been my favorite destinations)
in 2002 my company sent me to china to force a joint venture in Shanghai, so i started also travelling in China, thanks God not like a normal tourist in a group, i had accompany of chines office mates and the destinations had not been those a western tourist likes to do ( i never saw the chinese wall, but slept in a tent in Inner Mongolia)
My wife, a Philippina showed me the Philippines and now i am living and working in Indonesia ( a new challenge to explore a country with 17.000 islands)
But Africa is still the continent of my dreams and it is time to go over there again (the last 4 years i did not visit 1 time)
