My Scholarship entry - Club Deportivo Alberdi

My name is Franco Larrine, i'm 28 years old, Argentinian full time independent photographer, based in Cordoba, Argentina.
For me, the most important thing in photography is to tell or transmit something with it. It is very common now days to see photos or group of them that can't say anything, nothing else than just a well executed photo ( or set of photos ) with no story, no feelings. Stories are the main reason why I take pictures, I see a picture and must tell me something, sometimes a group of pictures to tell that story, sometimes ( and for me the best ones ) only one picture is needed to tell a big story.
Telling stories about other cultures, is maybe, one of the most beautiful things that a photographer can aspire. When you travel as a photographer, you enter in a mind state where you feel that everything you see can be a good photo or can tell an interesting story, the hard part is to put all that information in a photo or a group of them, and transmit what you see in that moment.
Deportivo Alberdi is a small soccer club, that works because the love and passion for the neighborhood, for the people. They don't charge to be part of the club, they help people, they give them the chance to meet new people, to be part of a team. The club looks abandon, but fortunately is not. People who works in the club want to help, they love people and they love Club Deportivo Alberdi. Their social compromise is one of the main reasons why I want to show you this story.
