My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Hi! I’m Francesca, I’m 25 and I live in Italy. The only thing I really love is travelling. My dream, my desire and my aim is to manage to put my feet once in my life in every country of our world. I have always loved getting to know new places and new people, especially people from different cultures. I love having memories of the places I visited and for this reason I have always taken a lot of photographs of them. But this year I decided that I wanted to learn how to use my camera to catch the best from my trips. I began a basic course about digital photography and I have started reading a lot of blogs and books about famous photographers to “copy” their photos. But what I need now is to put into practice what I have read on books. Theory is important, but more important is action. This contest caught my attention because what I’m really looking for is an expert photographer who has time to teach me how to act in front of a wonderful landscape. Well, I think the best way to learn something is to live it!
