This is our itinerary for Italy/Croatia 11th May-8th June 2008

May 11^th (Sunday) Depart Perth for Dubai

Leave Perth 6am Emirates EK425 to Dubai, (11.15 hours flight time). Arrive 1.15pm Dubai time, afternoon shopping, stay overnight in Dubai www.hilton.dubai.creek

May 12^th Depart Dubai  9.45am EK135 Emirates for Venice

Arrive Venice 2.15pm (6.5 hour flight time) Marco Polo Airport

May 15^th Depart Venice for San Marino, via Verona (train)

1 night at Affittacamere Franciosi (guesthouse) $35 Euros for single room/bath each in historic city of San         Marino.WEB SITE  www.affittacamere.sm/home_ita.html

May 16^th Depart Italy for Croatia. Travel on overnight “BlueLine” ferry from Ancona, 1 hour south of San     Marino, for Split,) www.bluelineferries.com. Ferry Leaves 9pm, onboard by 7pm (Fares prepaid)

May 17^th Arrive Split, 6am. Leave 1pm from Split Harbour for Sail around Dalmatian islands along coast, visit Dubrovnik. See www.sail-croatia.com, We have Chosen Route 2, leaving 17^th May.(Pre-paid)

May 24^th – 25^th May – Dalmatia, Open.

Cheryl and Val returning BlueLine ferry night of 25^th May (Sunday night) then off to Florence and country surrounds (Impruneta), 26^th May-29^th May. Marcelle remains in Dalmatia (open plan)- Nola to MEDJORIE. M & N return together on Blue Line ferry 28/05/08 from Split (Wed 28/5/08). Ferry Leaves 9pm, onboard by 7pm

May 29^th- 1^st June. All Regroup in Florence (or La Spezia) via train, for 3 night stay at Piccolu Blu B & B in Campiglia, in Cinque Terre National Park, 5k’s trek south of famous tourist towns http://www.arbaspaa.com/hotel/piccolo_blu_campiglia/default.aspx

1^st June-2^nd June, 2 day Drive through Tuscany, leaving La Spezia on a Sunday morning and taking the country roads :San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Siena (Overnight on the Sunday night at *San Giorgio farmhouse, 10 minutes drive south of Siena ) Monday morning drive  to Asciano & Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Montalcino – *http://www.san-giorgio.net/ensala.htm

*Nola leaves group for flight to Hamburg 3/6/08, overnight at Il Rosario Monastery, Rome 2/6, returning to Perth in November, 2008 after a 6 months sojourn.

2^nd,June (CV & M),Late Monday, Drive south  late afternoon to Umbria ( 1 hour travel time) to Orvieto for 2 night stay (2/3^rd June), drive to other Umbrian towns such as Assisi on Tuesday, 3^rd June..
