    Along the medina walls are lined with locally grown produce from the atlas region. The woman lays out her bunches of vegetable to sell in the morning hours. If all goes well she will have earned enough to provide for her family. My experiences capture images that investigate the social and environmental transformations occurring in Morocco. by: fishexposure Views[327] Berber construction workers finish eating a typical breakfast on a silver tray with teapot and crystal tea glasses. The (French) baguette is consumed with butter, honey, or jam and downed with the infamous “Berber Whiskey,” a strong mint tea topped with a high amount of sugar. Still a developing country, the Moroccans maintain cultural customs by eating their meals in style off of silverware instead of carbon waste. by: fishexposure Views[1231] This Moroccan storyteller narrates a world full of adventures and travels through ancient oral tradition that enables the audience to escape the banality of everyday life. The propane-powered lamp illuminates the circle of young men capturing facial details well into the night. by: fishexposure Views[510] The 11th century Djemaa el-Fna square, part of the UNESCO World Heritage, has been the crossroad of cultures as traveling men would stop to rest and buy dates, the local fruit, and meet with other voyaging men from far away villages. This location continues to be a rest point where men exchange the currents of other neighboring villages along the Atlas Mountains. by: fishexposure Views[314] Inside the Marrakech Medina, antique Riads are fitted with new vogue television satellites. A local man finds peace and solitude while watching the sunset.
