My name is Eleftheria, which means freedom in Greek. That is what I dream to acquire in photography. Being in a free state of mind, I wish to get as much knowledge as a photographer can get; while standing in front of the theme, laying upon the image all the passion, mood and the feelings of the exact moment and later to see all those feelings being reflected in the viewers' eyes. I come from a mixed parentage of a Greek father and a Serbian mother but I grew up in Germany. Now I live in Greece and I am in the forth year of my studies in the department of Visual and Applied arts. I have travelled around Europe and because of my background I feel often the need to contact with people from different cultures.One of my goals in the near future is to include excellent pictures of the life of the ocean bottom in my degree.The love for photography came when as a little child I took pictures of the remains of the war in former Yugoslavia. The photography lessons I took at University grew my willing to learn more.I would consider myself as a very lucky person if I could make a living by “writing” special moments with “light” and capturing them accompanied by the shutter sound.
