India | Thursday, October 13, 2011 | 5 photos

My Self Subhransu Satpathy a students of school of film & media sciences, basically am doing Cinematography.
I have visit to a village named Sidheswar. I have listen it was full of the beauty of the nature & water plays vital role in these. So I am very much excited to jump to that place. It was approx 2hour by road from the Bhubaneswar which was the capital city of Orissa. It was situated near a river called Mahanadi it was the largest river of Orissa. But due to the industrialization now it becomes lost their purity. Just because its nearer to a river most of the villagers entrepreneur as a fisherman. Not from now it was continuing from the time of their father & grandfather. The fisher man sewing there fishnet in his own hand, it was taking 3month or more time to complete & they spend approx Rs.700 to 1500 for this. They are doing fishing by the help of their own boat. Not only the elder sometimes the youngest member of the family are help them. Sometimes due to the hole some unnecessary water are came inside the boat so the children help them to unload from it. There are a loots of abandon are also in the bank of the river which shows the history of the own. I have spend full of my day in there & when I am ready to go back I was shocked by watching the horrible sunset in there it’s just amazing. After enjoying the day & awesome evening sunset it was the time to say bye from the village.
I was captured every moment from a compact camera so I have not got expected result but am happy that at least am able to capture this moment of my life. Full of the day I miss my DSLR in there. So from this lesion I learn keep always your camera with you.
