    Back burning to try and protect a fence line. Back burners work in teams of 2 with the person operating the drip torch hanging on to the side of a vehicle to cover more ground. Views[710] The Bullo Shire's grader provides much needed suport to help with back burning. Graders are needed to cut fire brakes on the outside of the fire to allow back burning. This fire was about 22km in circumference Views[1160] A plain feeds information to ground crews on size and direction of fire. Air suport is vital in daylight hours to provide accurate information to ground.
