About findmorgana
My
first journey was to India at the age of four. Two memories have
survived of this trip: my father watching cricket on the black and
white television, it was early and dust particles hung in the morning
light; and a beggar bashing his stump against the taxi window on our
way from the airport. Sometimes I think that many of my life
decisions can be traced back to that moment in the taxi. Social work
and volunteering have taken me to the ghettos of Oakland, the gutters
of Sydney, the jungles of Peru and PNG, and right across Europe. I
have a talent for befriending locals and discovering the authentic
side of a city or culture. I'm a communicator, researcher, organiser,
adventurer and taker of well calculated risks.
