I am a research biologist, with a passion for travel and nature. Through photography, I aim to capture the the natural world and draw people's attention to the awesome power and beauty of the planet we live on. Capturing images from both the local environment and abroad inspire me in my career make me feel like I'm part of something bigger than my individual life.

From my career as a researcher, I respect the value and importance of professional mentorship from the elites within the field. This opportunity would be extremely valuable, in terms of improving my photography skills and also gaining perspective into a career as a professional photographer.

I have had limited success selling my photography through stock agencies and in the future aim to produce photobooks and submit nature photography for publication. My hope is that this opportunity will act as an excellent stepping stone for growth and to share my passion with a broader audience.
