So I’ve always been interested in photography, picked up my first DSLR, a Nikon D5000, in May this year and been shooting ever since. I love travelling and making an adventure of when ever and where ever I go. It is an ambition of mine to see each and every corner of the globe, so far i’ve been to Japan, Canada and Malaysia. Next on the Agenda is Guilin China, that place gives me chills when i see photographs from there. To have an opportunity to go somewhere like South Africa to be mentored by Jason would be out of this world.

My series of photos are from a Mountain bike trip in Bali riding down from the Kintamani Volcano, about an hour into the trip we were invited to visit a Traditional Balinese homestead, which is where these photos were taken. At this time i had only owned my camera for about a month so it was a pretty experimental shoot, but i think they came out alright.

Since having the D5000 i have re assessed my career options and photography is where i’m aiming my sights, so yea i want this scholarship.
