My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I found by accident.

As a child I really enjoyed playing with the family Camera. At that time it didn't quite click! There was no doubt I loved taking photographs. Using the editing software, my parents would always say you have a good eye for this. Still didn't click. It wasn't until I had my Daughter, that the photographer in me came to life. My 1000D was my bestfriend.I read books, articles, and watched youtube videos, and have taken over 10 thousand shots in a few short years. My determination to teach myself has slowly paid off. Once I grew confident I began entering photography competitions. Although I didn't win, I felt proud to showcase my hard work online. My Dad, who always says that Photography has always been in me, wrote some inspirational words " This gift is to help carry your way through life"

I believe the wise words my Dad wrote are the very reasons I should be chosen. It took one person to help see the potential, and your gift will help carry me through life, and help me to see it as a reality rather than a dream.
