My Scholarship entry - As I wander

I'm from Guwahahti, Assam which is on the North East India. I have an undergraduate degree in Visual Communication and I'm a hardcore aesthete which I'm not so proud of cause I feel its more of a disorder. My bio says "Design over functionality and aesthetics over everything" which needs to change. I'm really passionate about photography and film making. I love travelling as much as i love to capture things so my goal in life would be to make the camera my passport to the rest of the world. I was on Eyem's list of 20 recommended photographers for the month of September. I'm also a Suggested User on Instagram. Street and fine art photography has always been my area of interest but I'm still discovering new areas. Besides I love clicking human beings. Sometimes I would find a nice frame but I would always wait for the human element to come in. I've never done a series or fixed genre, I've always clicked on the go. Someday I would like to do a series on North East India, cause I would want to show the world India is not just about the Taj Mahal or immensely crowded cities. North East India includes one of the most undiscovered, beautiful & widely neglected regions of India.
