When we had our daughter at 21, we promised each other that we were not going to give up our dream of travelling the world.
Fabian began studying Audio-Visual Media, Olga started majoring in English literary and cultural studies. In 2010, she was granted a scholarship to study in Perth. We knew this was going to be our chance to revive our passion for travelling, for immersing ourselves in another culture, for daring the unknown.
The film is a glimpse into what we experienced during our year spent in NZ and Australia. Since then, we've continued our studies and are both going to graduate next year. Fabian has been involved in several student-run short film projects. Olga has been writing book, theatre and film reviews for a newspaper, which has often implied doing interviews.
Our dream is to complement Olga's openness, her English and writing skills and her ability to communicate with and relate to people with Fabian's enormous creativity, organising ability and continually growing affinity to the medium film. What we hope to end up with is a team ready to hit the travel film industry.
PS: there is a set of grandparents keen on spending lots of time with our daughter in February!
