A Local Encounter that Changed my Perspective - Travel is inspiration

I almost get lose in the airport.
After done packing, I get into a car to go to the airport. They drop me there and leave. While waving my hand, “Thank you, Bye” is a word I say to my brother.
Quickly, I step into the airport. It is large and I know nothing. I am looking for a Jet Star check in counter to check my e-ticket to get my boarding pass showing a flight gate number and seat number, and to drop my luggage and get a claim slip proves the luggage is mine.
“Go there!” a ticket agent says. I go through security gate scanning my finger print and passport while my carryon is being screened. Then I move to a metal detector and go to the gate area waiting for hours for my flight.
Once I have boarded the plane, “store your carryon under the seat in front of you and fasten your seat belt,” I am told. A moment later, “Please fasten your seat belt, and, turn off your electronic devices—laptop, mobile, and iPod,” the flight attendants announce, “the flight is now about to take off.”
I could feel the flight is moving slowly, then goes faster and faster, and take off from the ground.
Flying gets me worried and felt nervous. I ignore all the meals and drinks the stewards bring me. Once the flight goes through the cloud, it becomes unstable just like the board facing the wave in the sea.
I am afraid something might go wrong. I keep thinking if this is the first and last time of my flying. “No,” I whisper. It is probably because I myself think too much or it is my first time. And I keep wondering if my surrounding people feel the same way.
I fall asleep. I hear the noise nearby my ears. An idea comes to my mind. “Is there any urgent announcement? Are they preparing to jump from the plane?” Suddenly, this wakes me up.
Once I open my eyes, a guy sits next to me goes to the rest room, actually, and some other people are getting their meals. “Phew, crazy me,” forget about this.
Looking down from the top of the sky, I could see the blue huge ocean attaching with the islands as the ships and boards are going across the ocean to reach their destination. Hastily, I take out my Canon camera to capture such a beautiful and wonderful landscape ever; I am now living in peace and forget that nervous feeling at the beginning. “What the memorable scenery is.”
Then, I see the overview of a very modern small city. I could feel I am heading Singapore airport very soon.
“Thanks Buddha, I get my destination safe and sound.”
I should have enjoyed my first time on the flight, I guess.
