Medieval Festival in Teruel

Photography and traveling are my passions. I have this never-ending curiosity to explore places and cultures different from mine and to capture the moment when I discover their beauty.
We’re living in an era when traveling is accessible for everyone. Which is great, but at the same time I fear the risk of becoming a society of picture collectors, with no care towards the environment and no respect for different cultures and their people. I believe National Geographic can shape people's opinion about this.
After moving to Spain last year I attended a conference held by the editor of the Spanish National Geographic. I sat in the entire conference with eyes and mouth open while listening to the stories and looking at the photos. It seemed they had the best job on Earth, no matter how annoying was sitting in the jungle with flies or walking in the desert. I would love to be part of all this.
It would be a great opportunity to work with Jason Edwards and see the editing process. I believe I could use my creative skills which I’ve gained during my studies in Scotland and my experience from the voluntary work with endangered sea turtles in Italy.
