My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

The tomb of Christopher Columbus  is located inside the Seville Cathedral in  Spain.  You can find   four  allegorical figures on top of his tomb  representing the four kingdoms of Spain during Columbus’ life, Castille,  Aragon, Navara and Leon.  It was designed by the sculptor Arturo Melida. It was originally installed in Havana 
before being moved to Seville after Spain lost control of Cuba.
