Destinations Unknown, a journey towards liberation

A journey towards liberation is about breaking free from old mindsets, to live life to it’s fullest potential, and to be free to make decisions that aren’t imposed by society’s ideals.

Through tourism, opportunities unfolded to learn the value of Education, Understanding and Respect. Last year, feeling life had become stagnant, feeling that I had neglected my own need to evolve as a being, I decided to boldly go where I had not gone before.

I ventured into North America, where I was to find a volunteer opportunity with an organization called Clear Sky Meditation and Study Foundation.

This opportunity supported my growing sense of spirituality and helped me to grow into a deeper understanding of myself, and the world around me. Through increased mindfulness and awareness, I was able to recognize limiting mindsets, which hindered my journey towards liberation.

A life changing experience for me was to work alongside a visual anthropologist/filmmaker in attempt to record Australian Indigenous oral history, for preservation/education. Having lived, breathed, seen and felt this ancient culture through my own explorations, this scholarship will empower me to accurately portray and share important stories effectively, benefiting all beings.
