About erinlemonade
My name is Erin, and I have been writing as long as I can remember. I am currently and English major at Nipissing University, in North Bay, Canada.
My writing style is one of observation and story telling. I try to use collections of images, people and emotions with vivid imagery. I most often write short stories and poems, as well as a few opinion pieces. (check out my blog: http://erinlemonade.wordpress.com)
I have not done much travel blogging in the past, but am interested in combining my two vital passions: writing and travelling. I have always dreamed of travelling Europe, and have been seeking out ways to expand my career as a writer. I believe this opportunity would open doors for me and lead me into careers I have always pined for.
I am a 20-something, and I believe this is a fantastic time in my life for this kind of a possibility. I am mature enough to understand the weight of this opportunity, yet young and adventurous enough to take on a solo trip in Europe.
If chosen for this scholarship I believe I would bring enthusiasm and creativity to this program. I would be an attentive learner and develop detailed, interesting stories. I hope to see you in Berlin.
