Worldwide | Tuesday, August 17, 2010 | 5 photos
My name is Erika Radi, was born in Hungary. From small on my mother advised me ''travel, this is what no one can take from you''. And i did and still do traveling. I love to discover new countries, to see local people, their life, habits, tradition. But not only the inhabitants. Also the landscape, the surrounding is important. Beside i am very interested to take pictures from people, animals, the nature. My favorite continent shooting pictures is Africa, where the colors, people, animals, landscape are amazing. People may say i am having a good eye and most of my pictures fascinating them. Not to be conceited, but i feel the same. Beside i still need to practice and learn a lot in the technical side. I was planing to travel this fall to Nepal and Tibet, which unfortunately i have to delay. And what an accident to find your scholarship.
The photos i am sending to apply are most from Africa, Sri Lanka and Egypt.
It would be a great chance to gain this scholarship. Why? Because i believe that we have to leave something for the future, for those are coming after us. Not to let to die the traditions, the past, the moments, the soul, the glance, the gorillas, the rare animals, the human..
