This journey represents four things to myself personally, four things I hope to gain: A far greater understanding through immersion of my personal heritage; a radical rearrangement of my priorities upon the completion of my journey; and also to give back to the global community as an act of gratitude represented by the immense disparity between circumstances dealt out simply by chance.
My philosophy which I aim to live by, and hence apply to this experience is that if one tries one's utmost, has good intentions, maintains a sense of humour and compassion, and prays, then all will be well.
I hope to adequately share what no doubt will prove to be a trialling and enlightening experience with you.
