Im an amateur photographer from the Philippines. Currently I'm taking my masters degree in finance and when time and duties permit, I travel and take photos.
The series of pictures I uploaded were taken from a Gawad Kalinga (a community building organization that helps rehabilitate calamity and poverty stricken areas) rehabilitation effort in Bicol a few days after a powerful typhoon destroyed towns. Gk brings people from all places and races. What surprised me about it is how fast and strong the call for help was answered and how the people of the afflicted communities can still manage to smile despite all that they've just been through
