Sunny Sinai (Non-Biblical Story)

It was late when our bus headed to the Saint Catherine's Monastery. Any questions about that place? Well, you'd better Google it, but I'll tell you, that there's this wellknown Burning Bush built at the site where Moses (Google it!) is supposed to have seen it. That's the place where his story began and it's right at the bottom of Mount Sinai.
It was midnight when we left the bus and met some strange people dressed in weird clothes. These clothes turned out to be the ones we started dreaming of when we walked a few miles; and these were the clothes all the Bedouins (Google!) wore. One of the Bedouins was called Muhammad (you can't google him!).
There were high mountains, rocks, scary shadows and at least six hours ahead of us. Well, it's Egypt and it's Africa, so there's always sunny and warm. That's what we thought; that's what turned out to be SNOW and FROST; that's why we were freezing to death! And we had just three "Bedouinian" places to stop and have some EXPENSIVE tea! Some of the tourists stayed there and only some of us were able to go on.
Muhammad was like Google! He knew everything! You could start talking about ANY topic and he was ready to share everything he'd heard from tourists. He was also a very kind and helpful person who held my hand when the road was getting risky. It was scary and when I say "scary", I mean it! But Muhammad was there - lighting the darkest darkness ever and trying to make my journey less stressed and cold...
I mentioned darkness. Have you ever thought you were blind because opening or closing your eyes didn't make any difference? Or can you imagine the darkness like that? Then you're close to what I was able to see! That's how I made it to the "last"stop and discovered that I still had 750 steps to go! And these so called "steps" turned out to be the biggest rocks and stones ever! Can you imagine? No? Then you have to visit and see! Because what I saw when I got to the top was worth every step I took! On my way to the destination I could only see the moon strangely shining above. But when I finally stopped and the sun rose (it took just several seconds), there was this whole universe above! There was the whole hidden story of humanity! It was the colorful and sunny Sinai which transformed my non-Biblical story to something worth praying for! It was the journey each of you should experience to see how wonderful things are hidden in some of the darkest parts of our lives; and to see the beauty you can never Google!
