Cuban cigars, salsa, and women who smell like coffee

PERU | Sunday, 6 July 2008 | Views [421]

Had my first cuban cigar and all i can say is--awesome. I am no longer living with the peruvian family. i've now moved in a house with other teachers in kind of like an mtv real world experience (although not as lame). It's actually kind of cool. you get to meet a lot of cool people, go out, etc..., although school assignments do take up some time. The night life here is interesting (especially if you stay out of the touristy places.) Once I refine my spanish and get my salsa down, it's on.....can't wait to go to Quillabamba for the coffee festival and to see who is crowned "the coffee queen--miss Quillabamba"....I've heard from the locals of Cusco that the women of Quillabamba are beautiful, love foreign men, and smell like coffee....it's got to be heaven!
