My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am a hobbiest and I love photography, I try my best to spare few hours out of the busy day to take some shots with my camera. I love taking photos of birds, flowers, animals, people moon, waterscapes and landscapes.
I believe photography is limitless. Its such an art which fill every second of life with all kinds of emotions.
The photos in my journal are from my trip to gold mines in Sovereign Hill's gold mine museum in Victoria.
Actually there are no active goldmines at present. The mining area is an old town, setup with old style shops, like confectionary shops, mechanical workshops, candle factory etc.
The gold mining setup is still there with steam boilers and steam compressors in working order. The people still dress up like they used to dress up those days. This gives a feeling like the time has never changed.
