Born and raised in Japan, have lived in 3 different continents so far. I am people orientated and appreciate diversity of life and the world. Photography and traveling has shaped who I am today. Travel is a great education and photography is a reflection of reality to me. I like myself when I am taking pictures and I believe in the power of photography and photography can make a great impact on people and society. These are the reason why I love photography. Passion and ambition make me want to take a better shot. If you have passion for something and if you love doing it, it is very natural you want to get better at it and I think that is a very simple and healthy logic. Being able to establish emotional connection with other people in my images is what I would like to achieve and that will help me grow as a person. I should be selected as I made a special bond with college students in my previous trip to Oman and the trip changed my viewpoint of life and photography. I strongly feel that I owe the country and it is my turn to return a favour by delivering my best images of Oman with all benefits I will gain from this opportunity and I believe I have an ability to do so.
