My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Fascination and curiosity.
My top two reasons when I first decided to get my own camera.
Fascinated by the fact that when I take photo I am are not simply creating an image. It also gives me the ability to capture one of the most valuable thing in life, time. It’s been said that time is like a river and that we cannot touch the same water twice. But this statement cannot be true when we take photos as it gives us the opportunity to remember the experience and feel the same like the first time. It’s always fascinating!
As a traveler, my camera leads me to curiosity. What kind of images can I capture from this place? Its best representation, landscapes or people? How about the food? As I tried to answer these questions I realized that I am being drawn to more questions. My camera helps me think, ask and exist.
For me taking photos is like having a conversation to my viewer. I always wanted my photo to reflect my ideas, opinion, interpretation and story. Today, I know that I am still lacking on both techniques and technical of photography. And, if given the chance I wanted to use this opportunity to ask, explore, learn and share.
Hi, my name is Emerson, a storyteller.
