Hello Jason Edwards, National Geographic Channel and WorldNomads.com, my name is Emma McKay and I am an aspiring photographer from Toronto. I love photography, and have chosen to enter my photographs because I find the art of photography so stimulating in a unique way, as you are able to capture a moment, creating art without interfering with the natural beauty of the scene you are shooting. Every scene in this world has the potential to be motivating, inspiring and utterly beautiful, be it in an easy or difficult way to be perceived, and I love taking every opportunity to explore this. Photography has inspired me to see more of the world, sending me on wanders across South America, Europe and Southern Africa over the past 3 years. I think travel is the best education, and photography adds to this experience. I am very personable, and every place I travel I try and learn some of the local language, so that I can properly interact with the locals, and in turn I have made great friendships which have led me to great shots that I am proud of. I love it and would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about this amazing field and would be honored to work with your team. Thank you!
