My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I always had a longing to see the world from a very young age so when I turned 24 I decided to take off on my adventures exploring the world for 2 years. Previous to this I took some evening courses in photography while attending college. Not initially linking my two loves I took off on my travels with a semi-pro camera which was to ultimately present to me my passion in life! Realising this excited me to the extent that I decided to do a degree in photography on my return to Ireland. When I travel I can be who I want to be. When you feel this way people you meet warm to it. This is the moment they will share portions of their life with you which invites you to photograph them exactly at that engaging moment. The result being that persons story captured on their face for a lifetime. Since graduating 18 months ago I went to Italy for 3 months to experience and document the beauty and passion that Italy exudes. Fueling my passion I have since been searching for another opportunity to present itself. I always believe whats for me wont pass me. This has recently proven to be true when a very good friend sent me the link to the Scholarship with a simple propitious 5 letter heading ENTER
