Valencia

So I arrived 3.5 hours later to the beautiful old city of Valencia..once again I relied on macdonalds wifi to find my hostel :P walked the well lit and busy streets ('twas about 11.30pm) to my hostel, super impressed by the architecture..found my hostel, which to me looked more like a motel! Nicest and cheapest place I've stayed yet lol always the way...
Had a pretty crappy sleep thanks to the guy on the top bunk tossing and turning :S went down and had my free breakfast, organised a blablacar to Granada the next day (had to use my translating app lol) and booked my flights for in a weeks time from Faro to Bournemouth..I headed out to scope out where I was meant to meet the man in the morning and do some sightseeing..the old town was really lovely, with cathedrals, towers and markets..I treated myself to a cheap beer and local food (quiche and chicken on a baguette) then crashed in the shade in the park..'twas so hot! After about 2 hours of lazing I caught the bus to the beach, about a half hour ride..it was still really hot and windy and the water was choppy and murky, not really worth risking leaving my bag unattended..so instead I found some nearby shade (being the good redhead that I am) and read my book..went to a fruit shop and met a really nice Indian who welcomed me to Valencia..then bussed it back to the hostel, made some two minute noodles with capsicum, zucchini and tuna (trying to be cheap AND healthy lol)...then met my italian bunk bed buddy who had too much spaghetti so I shared some with him (you don't say no to free food!) and chatted a while..got asked to go on a pub crawl but I couldn't be bothered :P
Up early to check out and get to Valencia's bull fighting stadium to meet my carpooling man Jóse..there was also an italian guy and a Spanish girl making the trip; the former was friendly and spoke English which was nice :)
I really liked Valencia..I was buggered and it was uber hot but it was really old with beautiful buildings..and the streets were clean, the transport great and the people super friendly :)
