My Photo scholarship 2010 entry "elidealista"

Since 10 years ago I´ve been searching how to be a better person. Art-therapy, sports & photography became my allies on this goal. Today I have a clear purpose: be happy & make people around me happy too. I travelled in ´09 to Tibet in a Buddhist teachings journey. I decided to bring with me my red noses that give me so much joy. There, I shared that joy with people, specially kids by putting the noses to them & giving them as a gift. They enjoyed it a lot. In a moment I even had the chance to print the pics & give´em to them too. It made me & them so happy that I decided to continue doing this all over the world. To do this, I want to connect with great photographers & people with the will to make a better world. I want to help others reach their dreams. And this scholarship is the opportunity to reach my own dream since I was a kid: be a Nat Geo photographer. I love photos, travel, adventure & specially the World we live in and the people´s behavior. I am fascinated by that. I just decided to leave a very important job I had as Nike Ad director/Spain in order to fully focus on what I really like in life. Travelling all over the world taking pictures with a red nose to make people smile & have at least a moment of joy is currently my life´s purpose. I´d love to share this purpose with Nat Geo, learn from the Pro´s & expand this movement to more people in the the world. People need JOY & this scholarship is a good device to ignite it in places like Buthan and even beyond.. united for a happy world.
