My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

During my 8 months stay in Burkina Faso, Africa, i happened to share my home with a teacher from the nearby catholic school. The pictures you see here were taken during this school's science fair. The students were asked to come up with experiments and demonstrations that would illustrate the basic laws and principles of physics.
My name is Florian, i'm 35 and I currently live in France. I like many things, but I love two more than anything: traveling and taking pictures.
I use photography as an excuse to travel, and traveling is probably my favorite excuse for taking pictures. The thrill i get from meeting new people, immersing myself into their culture and sharing their lives for as much as they will allow me to is what drives and motivates me to stay curious and open-minded.
I am always looking for opportunities to learn new things. I would love to become a travel photographer and I see this scholarship as an incredible chance to gain some invaluable experience and knowledge that can help me evolve into that direction.
Thank You!
