Travel Photography Scholarship: Korean Traditional Markets
South Korea | Sunday, January 13, 2013 | 5 photos
I work and live in South Korea during last two years. I like to embed people in inimitable environs to show its uniqueness. I found Korean tradition markets as something authentic, each of them has its own characters and mood. This involves sellers, customers, places and things that are served there. I took pictures in several Korean markets: Yangjae Flower Market, Gyeongdong Medicine Market and Noryanjin Market. I caught an inspiration that each markets is like a small world, where people contact to each other in different ways. I was trying to show interaction between people and environment.
