When you wake up too early.

Bratislava- Slovakia, early morning . Me next to my boyfriend- Andrew. It is too soon to be awake for both of us . Nobody knows that this day will take almost "forever". In September I was chosen to take part in Erasmus program in Poland- Wroclaw. I chose this country mainly because of my roots, though the country is amazing. My father comes from Poland , but later moved to USA and is still there. His whole family consist of keen travellers." You can not stay at one place more than a day",had always repeated to my mum.
In Bratislava the weather was the same as every day in winter- windy, cold, without snow. Come on!- I was pushing myself out of the bed. The cup of coffee will make you feel better. Kettle is on . Andrew and me are still quiet. 6 hours ahead of me. I will be travelling by train. According to me trains are comfortable, but on the other hand I will have to change the trains at least 2 times. After coffee we realized that we need to rush. Damn it! As always, I can wake up 2 hours before, spend time with doing nothing and then have no time left for the other things- the important ones. Important things like: to pack the snack, to take the bottle of water, to buy a magazine, to dress properly.
At least tram arrived on time. - probably the only vehicles in this city. The train station in Bratislava will frighten you more than charm you. You will see a lot of homeless and homesick people as well. It is old train station, but you have to concentrate quite a lot to find its spirit. I started to cry. Who loves saying goodbye to the lover? Definitely not me. "Our saying goodbye" is being prolonged unintentionally. Of course the train is delayed. It means that there is no chance that I will catch the second train. After another half and hour I finally sit in the train. The last tears are running down my cheeks. It seems like I do not want to go back to Wroclaw. No! Of course I do, I just would like to take Andrew with me. We have seen a lot together- Berlin, New York, Miami, Budapest. Being together in the world on the road is just more fun.
A man and a woman are talking - they both work for the train company, so they were trying to find out why the train was late. We are almost in Poland. I got out. Wait. I am not in Poland , but in the Czech Republic, starting to be hungry without water and the train to Poland has one hour delay. Again. Alone , but still smiling and hoping that you can always find nice people.
