My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am an early childhood educator in Canada. While I teach, I love taking photographs of the children, because they have the best natural expression ever. Through documenting their beautiful moments for their parents, I realize how photography is very important and my love for photographing.

I begin to photograph people and environment around me and every chance I get, I would travel around with my camera. I find that I can easily learn while I photograph and I enjoy sharing them with others. There is many cultures and stories I have yet to discover. I wish I will be able to travel around the world and document different countries, people and cultures. I believe photography is a great way to communicate with everyone and exchange stories with others.

This will be an amazing opportunity to have a mentor out on the field and experience what it is like to be on an photographic assignment. It would be a great way for me to step into the next level of photography.
