My Photo scholarship 2010 entry
Venezuela | Saturday, October 16, 2010 | 5 photos
About the photos:
An ordinary life. Away from the red and yellow lights glowing in the traffic. Without big fancy phones. Never getting late, no need to. This is "La Sabana", a little beach town, a few miles from the city of La Guaira, in Venezuela. Simple and happy life.
In a country overwhelm by violence, this little town has no insecurity. They all know themselves, living every day to the sound of the music of the waves of the sea. Living simple.
These are the faces of the town, simple people, ordinary people.
About me:
Geologist by day, photographer by night, a young boy, with big dreams and a camera. Recently graduated as engineer. It discovered that photography is his world. Documenting the small things of his around, the ways of life, the beautiful landscapes of his country. Knowing that a snapshot is a reflection of every learned knowledge, every committed mistake, and every lived experience.
