I am a young photographer at the beginning of my career. To me, photography gives me a way of opening up what it means to be me and showing it for others. I am passionate about images that mean something to me and reflect what I see, giving the audience a window into how I see the world. And this is what makes photography so magical. Photography allows me to capture fleeting moments; a combination of colours, a facial expression, a pattern of shadow on a wet pavement. Tiny, everyday things that go unnoticed by the majority, busy with their daily lives. These mundane images can be some of the most dramatic and inspirational images for me. But there are many inspirational images in the world and I'm always learning and pushing to get that better shot. There are now more photos but fewer photographers. To be the best your images have to capture the essence of what you're photographing and show that to the world. My dad was the inspiration for me picking up a camera and it was National Geographic that ignited my dream of being a photographer. Being picked for this incredible opportunity would be a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from the best and perhaps make a dream come true.
