I'm a backpacker, teacher and freelance travel writer. I have lived for numerous years in different countries for elongated periods including Denmark, Sweden, Germany and the U.K. I've seen and experienced a vast amount of Europe by means of independent traveling using a range of transport methods, staying in hostels, eating from local markets and countkess hours wandering and exploring the local area.. I've also spent time in the poorest state of India where I spoke about the Scandinavian education system, with the goal of setting up an school promoting alternative education in India. I enjoy backpacking, meeting new people, cooking, music a& sport. I like to travel by taking the road less travelled and meeting locals.
