The Modern Santiago

The Way of St. James, or the Camino del Santiago, is a popular pilgrimage to the supposed burial place of St. James at Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain. Opinions of the hike are varied, but in general, it is known to allow for a lot of time with your thoughts.
Everyone will have a different reason for their pilgrimage, and it would be fascinating to record stories of those who attempt it.
However, along the way, some of the best of Basque cuisine can be sampled. Showcasing the differences and similarities of this cuisine along the route would be interesting, as well, to foodies.
There is no doubt many stories would come out of this pilgrimage, and hopefully my own discovery will be shared.
