The Dark Garage

I suddenly woke up and realized that the bus was not in motion. I I was seated at the middle seats of the bus. I hurriedly open by bag to confirm whether all my belongings were in tack. checked my time and guess what it was 4:00am! I was alone in a bus and at a place I have never been. It was relatively dark as the morning sun was getting prepared to illuminate mother earth. I felt tensed and wondered at what deserted place I was. I mind rushed to all sorts of evil I was told are on the way before I started my journey.
However, I decided to get out of the bus. Immediately I set foot on the ground, I heard a deep male voice and I turned around and saw two men sitting at a corner near the fire warming their bodies. They both had a machete beside them and one of them had very old and dirty dreadlocks. My heart started to pumped faster and my legs were hitting each other. I slowed down and said 'hello' then they both looked at me. The man's face sustained many marks possibly from fighting and this even got me felt more scared. I said to myself that I am being kidnapped. I ran towards the small door, I pushed it but it won't open. I wanted to jump the fence but it was too high. I turn back and the man was just next to me. He said something to me but I could not understand. I then heard the word 'bus' came out of his mouth and I nodded my head signaling that I will comply. I walked back into to the bus. Just about two minutes or so later, I saw an old woman walked passed the bus’s door. I ran after her, held her wrapper and begged her to help me. She pushed me and I fell facing the direction were the men and but to my surprise I saw many women running toward us. They were all shouting on the top of their voice. A man hurriedly opened the small door and rushed toward us. I realized that I should have pushed the door instead of pulling it. He held me tightly and spoke to me in their local language. I told him that I can only speak English. He then told me in English that the women said I wanted to rape their peer. I explained the scenario to him and luckily for me he understood and explained it to the ladies.
I stepped out of the garage , I could not believe my eyes. I saw a very busy street with many tall story buildings, heavy traffic and men and women selling all types of stuff on the side of the road. I concluded that having spent four days in a bus with little sleep, food and drink from the Gambia to Ghana, I could not help but be paranoid.
