Hello world nomads-
My name is Ashley and I have a gypsy soul; I'm a travel and adventure addict. I was born and raised near Detroit Michigan, am an animal advocate, music addict and beer lover. Recently I graduated from Grand Valley State University (GO LAKERS!) with my degree in Recreational Therapy. I am a certified aquatic therapist and also like to incorporate music, art, and relaxation techniques into the therapy that I provide for others. My summer job in Florida is a dream come true for me...I take kids with disabilities and chronic illnesses swimming with wild dolphins and then provide many holostic therapy approaches for them; such as yoga, art, music and aquatic therapy. Many of these kiddos come from all over the world to experience this therapy... and with many of them speaking French, it is very important to me to learn how to communicate with them better. I will be going to Europe for my first time this winter to live with an amazing family off of the French Riviera and am so excited! I hope that my pictures and life experiences inspire others to follow their dreams, pursue their passion, and live life to the fullest. It's when we truly step out of our comfort zones when we experience the greatest growth.
