Day 10 – SUN - 23/9/12 – Dahab, Egypt
Slept in today and then vegged out alllllll day! Headed for brunch at Lighthouse (an area in Dahab) in a waterside cafe, watching all the divers go in for their morning dives. Strolled back along the waterfront to our hostel and hung out under the shelter on the beach and caught up with family on Skype and headed out for some local pizza a few doors down on the beach in Assalah (the area where our hostel was located) for dinner.
The restaurants were eerily quiet and I felt bad just looking at some of the menus and then moving on to another restaurant as the staff all seemed very friendly and welcoming and just loved a chat. At one point in dinner we had cats on 3 sides of the floor beneath the table. They were just waiting patiently for food to drop under the table but were all really cute.
The day was a very chilled out day and very relaxing. It was a great way to start our time in Dahab.
