My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I view the world as a venue for fusion of cultures and the continuous exploration of human potentials and experiences. Having found a niche of photography to my being is about realizing a passion and following a calling. I envisioned myself to be doing travel that I enjoy and take compelling pictures that would contribute to the art and craft of photography.

By primarily doing the things I love, it will put me into the fruition of my being. Should I be chosen as this year’s scholar, I would be fully maximizing my potential for living my legend and would be honored to be mentored by one of the icons of today’s Travel Photography, Mr. Jason Edwards. Such mentorship would be an indispensable guide for me to contribute to the art of photography. With his guidance, I would be able to enhance my imaginative and maverick potentials and further make a mark of my own.

I am able to relate with people from cross-cultural backgrounds, mindful of boundaries and circumstances. I believe that what teams needed today is somebody who is innovative, flexible to learn, has an open mind, and someone passionate. Life is a continuous learning process and I will always be a student for life.
