Human Peace Sign, composed of 1,500 students of Silliman University holding candles to lit the place and for the peace sign to form... this symbolizes their call for World Peace, especially in Negros Oriental which still has a problem with insurgency.

Horse Fight in Tanjay City , Negros Oriental is an annual tradition during the City's Fiesta celebration, even if it is declared as illegal in the Philippines because it is against animal rights residence of this City is still entertained by horse fight.

Saint Pedro Calungsod is the second Filipino Saint which sainthood was trace back during the 16th century in the island of Guam. He is considered as one of the youngest saints. In Cantaba, Toledo City , Philippines built is the Saint Pedro Calungsod Parish, the first church named after the 2nd Filipino Saint. Devotees of the young saint believe their illness will be cured by attending to his healing masses just like this mass during the time of his canonization.
