The past weekend I attended an Oktoberfest celebration...in New Zealand. It was pretty low key but still had a blast. I went with my friend Brady (who is from Texas) and my flatmate Alice(who is from the North Island). Being that is was everyones first Oktoberfest in Christchurch, we thought it was well done. There was this great German band playing and telling German jokes all day that no one got but still laughed at. They had some great German beers...of which I can not pronounce or even type the names. Really couldn't have spent a Saturday afternoon doing anything better.
