My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Indonesia | Monday, January 14, 2013 | 5 photos

Absolutely everything depends on your point of view…
...Is a camera a viewfinder, a view-maker or possible both…?

I love photography because of the technical limitations that forces us to look at things in a different way.
Some people strive to think and depict things objectively, but I think the elimination of the subjective is neither possible or desirable.

I’m curious by nature. A curiosity that made me leave my home almost 3 years ago. I left clueless with a one-way-ticket in my hand. That was the best decision I’ve ever made!
Being alone and confronted with the world taught me a lot about choosing my focus, and exploring is now topping my list.
Everyone is born to be afraid of the unknown, but I realized that I’m much more adaptable than I could ever imagine.

My goal with photography is to make people see something they didn’t consider, wonder and possible find inspiration. A scholarship with national Geographic would be a dream coming true. Competent feedback and professional field routine would be absolutely priceless to me and I would give myself 110%
